I'm far too impatient to wait for the retouching. I'll be wearing Shanwear in my first fashion show FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26th @ 11pm (INFO BELOW) So I thought it'd be nice to have a sneak peek.
I also sort of appreciate that these are raw & untouched. I'm not afraid to show everyone what I really look like. So enjoy my blemishes and lazy eye :) Working in advertising, you see what a little Photoshop can do, so I'm excited to see the next round of these, but... in the meantime... what you have below is Photoshop free. Just real.

Shannon photographs his models himself. Wasn't a high-tech set-up, but it's a beautiful thing because he takes a sh*tload of shots. He sent me 518 and I picked 11. (That's the real.) For a newbie like myself, I appreciated it because I couldn't get down to a few shots just yet... but i might be a beast on my next try. Seeing these certainly shows me where I can grow. Perhaps on the next round, I could do without the background props. I'd like to see what I can do with just my body without relying on objects around me.

For my first shoot, I don't think I did terribly. Judge if you're God *shrugs*

I actually adored this dress. When I was sitting, it fit to form, but it was perfectly loose standing up. I was impressed by how the conctruction fit me so well since Shannon is a guy. lol

Shanwear tends to give you a dress and a two-piece combo. This comes in a ridiculous number of colors, but the blue worked well for my shoes. & I loved that it didn't button it the top. Gave the top a little bit of umph & one could certainly wear these pieces separately.

The top didn't fit. I'm real, so *shrugs* my skin could use a lil smoothing, but honestly... used to be a lot worse. I'm terrible at putting on lotion when I get out of the shower so I transitioned over to baby oil. I keep that in the shower & make it part of my routine. It's worked wonders.

LOL. I was feeling myself. This top was fun because it can be work a couple ways. I think people are afraid of this top design tho. I'm not sure why. Perhaps it looks like a lot is going on.. but frankly, as an A cup, I love anything I can wear without a bra. *shrugs* The wrap-around version was super comfortable & I love how much skin it does (or doesn't) show.

I'm Dominican :) I'm also lots of other things (oiled-up being one of them), but Shannon embroiders these himself. He also lets his models keep this outfit. I enjoyed the pride it gave me. I'll rep *shrugs* The other version features your astrological sign.
